Transportation
During the month of January the preschool students have been looking at different forms of transportation. We have looked at a car engine, helicopters and air planes taking off and the differences between the two, we have set up an air plane and students have role played flight attendent, captain and co-captain and passengers.
Some of student’s ideas about transportation are:
Silas: “airplanes take us to faraway places”
Lukes: “cars drive on roads”
Emmasofia: “planes take us to Argentina”
Aliya: “you need keys to drive”
Adam: “cars have stirring wheels”
Ava: “cars need gas”
Kosmo: “cars need oil”
Jesus: “around, and around and around” (helicopters)
Bernice “airplanes have two wings”
